The Men’s Final having the all-new format: Riders fall into line in sequence and alternate to go in the box and try one trick. Seven tries, top 4 count.

In simple terms: it is one by one, making it simpler for the judges, the general public as well as the riders to follow the adventure.

Frequent misunderstanding: Seven tries and 4 counting implies much less risk is taken.
Truth: Since the riders know the scores as well as their position on the heat, the bar is actually raised higher and higher – in case a rider wants a double to be able to advance (and also the new format allows them to know that), they will throw it.
